until Roskilde Festival 2014 - 29 June to 6 July

Traditional Korean instruments are used in spooky ways when Jambinai take the stage. The young band combines the sounds of Asian tradition with post-rock and noise jazz. The harrowing music slowly builds a nest in your mind with its challenging harmonies.

Mournful bamboo oboes, electronic loops and 1000-year-old string instruments interfere with grating guitars in hectic climaxes.

2014 will be a special year for Jambinai. One of Seoul’s hottest avant-garde acts reaches the West with a new album and an extensive tour.

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
