GIRLSEEKER (DK)

With synths, guitar and effects-drenched, deep vocals, Girlseeker have in their own minimal way made their mark as a new exciting band from the Copenhagen punk underground.

With a no-frills style, Girlseeker inhabits a sound space that is equal parts arrogant, arty post-punk and 80s-kitschy pop taste, perhaps inspired by Americans such as Ariel Pink and John Maus. However, Girlseeker pave their own way with strangely beautiful and gritty synth pop.
