DEAD RAT ORCHESTRA (UK)
Saturday 06.07.13 - 00:00 - Gloria
Dead Rat Orchestra has been one of England’s most weird and innovative orchestras for a decade. Their colourful playground of instruments typically includes violin, accordion and a variety of guitars. But often they also employ wooden logs, axes, balloons, toys and whatever else is at hand. No matter the choice of instruments, they continue to traverse the boundaries of genre without taking permanent residence anywhere in particular. Dead Rat Orchestra play instrumental, semi-improvisational folk music which here and there resemble an acoustic variant of the tour companions Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Band schedule is ready in May
Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.
We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
