until Roskilde Festival 2014 - 29 June to 6 July

Thursday 05.07.12 - 19:30 - Pavilion

Multi-instrumentalist Guy Connely has been making noise in the corners of the blogosphere for a few years as a remixer and originator of his cut-up 'chop pop' where samples, fragments and collages play an essential part.

With the debut album Ways To Forget, the alias Clock Opera enters the stage as a synth rock band with full-fledged melodies and windy stadium atmosphere. Connely’s expressive vocals soar beautifully over both the open and rich arrangements that still contain the electronic geek’s preference for playful details and abundant wealth.

The melodic, grandiose feeling can make Clock Opera one of the ideal acquaintances for fans of forward-thinking electronic pop.

Label: Moshi Moshi / Universal

Advanced electronic pop.
Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
