Let the pop hymns roll!

Bastille has conquered the British and American charts, and it is not an exaggeration to call the quartet the biggest new band in the UK.

Keane and Coldplay have moved in the same jet streams, but Bastille has an electronic twist that gives the epic songs a somewhat more futuristic feel.

Front man and songwriter Dan Smith is a bit of a film freak and he lets his inspiration from trippy auteurs such as David Lynch shine through on a track like “Laura Palmer”. The lyrics may be dark and dimmed, but the music, on the other hand, is wide open, uplifting and born for the stadium.
